1. Unravel string from the stake and adjust the clip to ensure it is located at the end of the string, away from the stake leaving 2 inches minimum in string slack.
2. Position stakes equal distance, approximately 4 to 5 feet from lawn decor in an “X” format.
3. Create a starter hole for the stakes by using a screwdriver or similar tool at a 45 degree angle towards the lawn decor. After starter hole is created, insert stakes, leaving approximately 1 inch of the stake above the lawn surface.
4. Attach stake clips to the corresponding lawn inflatable tethers.
5. Pull the string slack from each clip back toward the stake until slightly tight. Do not overtighten the string.
6. To release string tension, apply reverse pressure to the bottom of the stake clip toward you while pulling the string attached to the stake toward the stake itself.
