1. Locate your electrical outlets before installing lights. It’s easier to light a home by starting near the outlet and running lights in both directions.
2. For C series and mini lights use one clip per bulb. For tube lights, curtain and swag light sets, recommended spacing for clips is every 6 to 18 IN.
3. When installing clips to shingles, fold tab end down before inserting clip under shingle for greater stability.
4. The secondary hook on the clip can be used to secure extension cords against movement due to wind.
5. When installing lights, it is recommended to attach each light to the clip before installation.
